Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) is celebrating American Heart Month this February by creating awareness of cardiovascular disease prevalence and prevention. CIS is offering free cardiovascular screenings at various locations throughout the month to aid in early detection.

Terrebonne General Health System announced that it has expanded its lymphedema management services, aimed at providing support to patients during their cancer recovery.

Ali Turner, physical therapist, and Jeni Domangue, occupational therapist, have recently achieved certification in manual lymph drainage and complete decongestive therapy. Both successfully completed a rigorous 135-hour training program.
