Lakeview Hospital’s Master Trainer, Suzanne Weidenbacher, RN, will present “A Matter of Balance,” an award-winning program designed to help individuals manage concerns about falls and improve activity levels. This free educational program will take place over eight sessions and will include practical strategies and exercises for fall prevention.
Attendees will learn to view falls as controllable, set goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risk at home, and exercise to increase strength and balance. Anyone who is concerned about falls, has fallen in the past, has restricted activities because of falls, or is interested in improving balance, flexibility, and strength should attend these classes.
