Children’s Hospital New Orleans and Carrollton Boosters announced a new sponsorship agreement, naming the sports complex at “The Fly” the Children’s Hospital New Orleans Baseball and Softball Complex at Carrollton.
The partnership not only names Carrollton’s youth sports complex, but also brings enrichment to the league, including supporting the health and safety of athletes and families, offering safety clinics for the league’s many volunteers coaches, and more.
“When thinking about community partners, collaborating with Children’s Hospital was a natural fit for us,” said St. Denis J. Villere III, president of the board of directors at Carrollton Booster. “Carrollton Boosters and Children’s Hospital both have long histories of serving the kids of our community. The support of Children’s will allow us to continue to provide important sports programs for kids, with a like-minded organization.”
“Children’s Hospital is thrilled to partner with Carrollton Boosters to support the health and wellbeing of kids,” said John R. Nickens IV, president and chief executive officer of Children’s Hospital New Orleans. “Dedicated to all kids and only kids, Children’s Hospital is investing in the communities we serve. We’re committed to building environments of health beyond our hospital and clinics, and that’s what the Carrollton Boosters partnership is all about.”
Children’s Hospital and Carrollton Boosters will celebrate the official naming of the complex with a ribbon cutting later this fall.
