Psychiatrist Vic Linden, MD, has joined New Leaf Psychiatry & Counseling Center, and is accepting new patients.
Linden specializes in adult psychiatry, which involves the diagnosis and treatment of individuals, 18 years of age and up, with chemical imbalances in the brain, including stress, depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and other psychiatric and mental health issues.
Describing his treatment philosophy as “helping his patients move forward,” Linden graduated with honors from the University of California, Irvine with a degree in Biological Sciences and went on to earn a medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. He completed both an internship and residency in Psychiatry through Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans.
