Ochsner Health recently broke ground on The Debra H. and Robert J. Patrick Neuroscience Center. Announced in September 2022, the Patrick family generously donated a transformational gift to establish the center, which will be located on Jefferson Highway near Ochsner Medical Center- New Orleans.
The 132,000-square-foot facility will integrate Ochsner’s neurology, neurosurgery, and behavioral health departments in one comprehensive center. As part of Ochsner’s recently announced strategic partnership with Team Gleason, the nation’s second assistive technology lab will be built in the Patrick Neuroscience Center. This lab will pioneer cutting-edge equipment and technology so patients living with ALS and other neurological disorders can increase their independence, mobility, and communication, giving them a higher quality of life.
