Ochsner Eat Fit Partners with Jazz Fest Vendors

Ochsner Eat Fit is once again teaming up with Jazz Fest vendors to offer something for those looking to stay on the healthier side. With more than 20 participating vendors at the 2025 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell, Eat Fit is helping festivalgoers indulge smarter without sacrificing flavor.

“Jazz Fest is about soaking up every note, every bite, every moment,” said Molly Kimball, RD, CSSD, founder of Ochsner Eat Fit. “We’ve collaborated with these incredible food vendors to spotlight their Eat Fit-approved dishes that showcase bold flavors and nourishing ingredients, so everyone can enjoy the magic of Jazz Fest and feel great doing it.”

By partnering once again with Jazz Fest, Ochsner Eat Fit continues its 12-year-long mission to inspire better choices across Louisiana. By highlighting menu items made with lean proteins, whole grains, veggies, and healthy fats—without added sugars or white carbs—Eat Fit helps to ensure that choosing healthier options doesn’t mean compromising on taste or tradition.

Eat Fit dishes you’ll find at this year’s fest include the vegan-friendly spicy grilled tofu and veggies with peanut sauce from Gambian Foods, Jamaican chicken with double steamed vegetables from Palmer’s Cuisine and the poulet fricassee and jama jama from Bennachin, among others. You can also satisfy your sweet tooth with sugar-free snowball options from Cee Cee’s Sno-Balls and Plum St. Sno-Balls.

“From the classic spinach dish jama jama, to our new vegan soul food offerings, to cochon de lait poboy salad, we’re grateful to Ochsner Eat Fit for guiding thousands of Jazz Fest food fans to all of the healthiest meals and drinks on the Jazz Fest menu,” said Jazz Fest Food Director Michelle Nugent.

Attendees can easily locate Eat Fit-approved dishes marked with the signature Eat Fit seal. For a full list of offerings, including vendor location, nutrition facts and photos, download the free Ochsner Eat Fit mobile app.
