Mind Clinic Conference Slated for Dec. 5 in New Orleans

Trusted Provider Network (TPN), Louisiana’s first and only professional behavioral health clinician network and database, will launch a series of talks in order to provide continuing education for licensed Greater New Orleans mental health clinicians to strengthen the relationships within the region’s behavioral health community.

The TPN Mind Clinic on Friday, Dec. 5 is offering Healthcare Journal of New Orleans and Healthcare Journal of Baton Rouge subscribers a $20 registration fee with the code TPN20. 

December’s event will feature experts Dr. José Calderón-Abbo, associate professor of clinical psychiatry at Louisiana State University’s department of psychiatry, and Dr. James Flowers, founder of the Flowers Institute and adjunct professor at Sam Houston State University, who specialize in addiction treatment and chronic pain, respectively. Dr. Patrick Bordnick will also speak on the unique physician database that assists in streamlining informed behavioral health professional referrals across south Louisiana.

Mind Clinic: Mind-Body Medicine-Enhanced Addiction Recovery, Value of Comprehensive Diagnostic Evaluations with Dr. José Calderón-Abbo and Dr. James Flowers will be held Dec. 5 from 8:30 a.m.-6 p.m. at Temple Sinai, 6227 St. Charles Ave. in New Orleans.

Licensed clinicians can earn 3 CME/6 CEUs. Guests will enjoy professional networking opportunities and lunch provided by TPN.Health.
