DePaul Community Health Centers celebrated the graduation of its third Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Residency Program cohort on Sept. 11 at Dooky Chase’s Restaurant in New Orleans. The evening included a graduation ceremony recognizing the residents’ accomplishments, followed by a celebratory dinner.
Graduates include:

-Paige Roberts, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
-Krystal Rosette, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
-Lucienne Sims, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC
Also, following her success in the residency, Lucienne has joined the staff at DePaul as a provider.
DePaul’s FNP Residency Program is a full-time, 12-month program designed for newly graduated Family Nurse Practitioners interested in careers as primary care providers in community health centers and other safety-net settings. Throughout the program, residents receive intensive clinical training designed to prepare them to care for complex and underserved patient populations.
During their residency, members of Cohort 3 participated in precepted primary care clinics, specialty rotations, mentored clinics, didactic education and quality improvement training. Specialty experiences may include behavioral health, cardiology, infectious disease, pediatrics, urgent care and women’s health. The program also emphasizes leadership and professional development.
