DePaul Community Health Centers (DCHC) and Concerned Citizens for a Better Algiers (CCFBA) through the DCHC Mobile Health Unit will provide free sexual health and general wellness screenings Nov. 12 from 2 – 6 p.m. and Dec. 10 from 2 – 6 p.m. at the CCFBA Office, located at 1417 Nunez Street in Algiers.
Services provided by this initiative will include free STI and HIV testing, referrals for treatment, case management, and blood pressure and glucose screenings.
The initiative is supported by Ryan White Services and Resources, a division of the New Orleans Health Department, which provides primary medical care and essential support services for people living with HIV. The mobile health unit will be parked at the CCFBA Office.
