Ascension DePaul Foundation New Orleans (formerly Daughters of Charity Foundation of New Orleans) will host its 10th Annual Keeping Our Promises Gala on April 13 at The Higgins Hotel, 1000 Magazine Street, in New Orleans. The patron party begins at 7 p.m. followed by the gala at 8 p.m. Proceeds will be used to eradicate health disparities locally by providing access to high-quality healthcare to all members of the community.
The event is presented by Quest Diagnostics.
The organization’s 2024 Inspired Cross Award honorees are Phyllis Taylor, the Hotel Dieu School of Nursing Alumni Association, and Sister Bonnie Hoffman, the Daughter of Charity who founded the award. The Inspired Cross Award is given annually to organizations and individuals who share Ascension DePaul Services New Orleans’ vision and work to promote healthy communities.
Additionally, this year’s gala will honor the 190th Anniversary of the Daughters of Charity and their work in New Orleans. Roderic and Toya Teamer serve as co-chairs of the gala committee. Patron party tickets cost $175 and gala tickets cost $100.
