Ascension DePaul Foundation (ADF), formerly Daughters of Charity Foundation of New Orleans, will host its annual Champions FORE Health Golf Tournament, presented by Quest Diagnostics, on Oc. 15 at the English Turn Golf & Country Club, 1 Clubhouse Drive in  New Orleans. 

The tournament, which benefits the patients of DePaul Community Health Centers (DCHC), will begin with registration at 7:30 a.m., followed by a shotgun-start at 8:30 a.m.

Children’s Hospital New Orleans announced that Tanya Busenlener, MD, and Amy Glick, MD, will join its Lakeside Pediatrics clinic located at 4845 Veterans Blvd. beginning in November.

Join DePaul Community Health Centers' (DCHC), Tulane University, and Louisiana’s Women, Infants and Children’s (WIC) Services on Sept. 14 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Audubon Zoo, 6500 Magazine Street, to celebrate 50 years of WIC.

The event includes activities for children, a DJ, line dancing, voting registration, multiple giveaways, and food resources for families. DCHC’s associates will provide guardians information about Louisiana SUN Bucks, which provides families with a one-time payment of $120 for eligible school-aged children to purchase groceries during the summer.

September is National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month and Children’s Hospital New Orleans announced a $100,000 Impact Award from Hyundai Hope On Wheels® that will support the more than 2,000 children from across Louisiana and the Gulf South who are cared for by the hospital’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders each year.
