Ochsner’s Ohmni telepresence robots are con- trolled by staff from a computer. Under the super- vision of Ochsner Information Systems and Child Life team members, patients were able to drive the OhmniCare telehealth robots and the Ohmni telepresence robots and via the robot’s “face” — a large display, see, and interact with those in attendance at the week’s special events. Terrebonne General Health SystemRecognized for Medical Excellence, Patient Safety Terrebonne General Health System was named among the top 10 percent in the nation for over- all medical excellence and patient safety from CareChex by Qunatros for the 2025 quality award ranking. Since 2009, CareChex awards have recognized top-performing hospitals based on performance in patient quality outcome measures. Bluebook Quantros uses its innovative medical quality rat- ing system to identify the top performers in 39 cat- egories of care from nearly all general, acute care, and non-federal hospitals in the nation. Ochsner Health Named to U.S. News &World Report’s 2025 Best Hospitals for Maternity Care U.S. News &World Report has named numerous late October. Jenkins retired from the professional services firm Deloitte after 41 years, during which time he held various leadership roles including vice-chair- man and national managing partner. In his time there, he advised executives from an array of glob- ally recognized businesses including Walmart, Dil- lard’s Department Stores, Neiman Marcus, and JC Penney. Over the course of his career, he has also served on the board of directors of Goodwill Industries International, including time as chairman and vice- chairman of the board, in addition to serving on the governing boards of numerous charitable and civic organizations St. Tammany Health System — formally St. Tammany Parish Hospital Service District No. 1 — is governed by an eight-member Board of Commissioners. Terrebonne General Health SystemAppoints Chief of Staff, Vice-Chief of Staff Terrebonne General Health System appointed Scott Haydel, MD, as chief of medical staff and Gregory Maidoh, MD, as vice-chief of staff for 2025-2027. Haydel served as vice-chief of staff for the previous two years and on the Medical Exec- utive Committee. Haydel graduated from Louisiana State Univer- sity School of Medicine. He then completed a res- idency at the University Medical Center in Lafay- ette. Haydel is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been practic- ing in Houma for 26 years. Maidoh graduated from medical school at the University of Ibadan in Ibadan, Nigeria. He then completed an internship and residency at Har- lem Hospital Center in New York. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in nephrology at Louisi- ana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Maidoh is board-certified by the Ameri- can Board of Internal Medicine and has been prac- ticing in Houma for 29 years. In these roles, Haydel and Maidoh will provide medical leadership and direction to over 450 med- ical staff providers that offer 42 various specialties.
