LCMCHealth Appoints Anthony Cunninghamas Chief Revenue Officer LCMC Health is announcing the appointment of Anthony Cunningham as the new chief revenue officer (CRO) for the system. In his role as CRO, he will strategically guide the organization in finan- cial stewardship and further enhance efforts to improve patient access. Cunningham recently served as vice president in key revenue cycle roles within Advocate Health, where he was responsible for more than $7 billion in net patient service revenue and led teams com- prised of more than 1,400 full-time employees. Prior to his tenure at Advocate Health, Cunning- ham held significant roles at other health systems, including interim executive director of revenue cycle operations at Northeast Georgia Health System, Corporate Director of Patient Access & Shared Services at Mass General Brigham, and executive director of revenue operations at Stew- ard Health Care, LLC. Ochsner Facilities Awarded Advanced Total Hip and Knee Replacement Accreditation from Joint Commission Ochsner Medical Center and Ochsner Hos- pital for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine have earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Total Hip and Knee Replacement. Ochsner Medical Center and Ochsner Hospital for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine were previously awarded this two-year recognition in 2021 and are two of only three hospitals in Louisiana with this accreditation. Children’s Hospital NO Receives $100K for Pediatric Cancer Research, Programs Children’s Hospital New Orleans recently received a $100,000 Impact Award from Hyundai Hope On Wheels® that will support more than 1,000 children from across Louisiana and the Gulf South who are cared for by the hospital’s Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders each year. The donation will be used to provide finan- cial assistance to families to help cover the cost of food and housing and toward improving the hospital’s cancer research database. Additional funds will support child life programming for can- cer patients, including games, art, and other ther- apeutic activities. The Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders at Children’s Hospital provides treatment and trans- plantation for children with leukemia, lymphoma, sickle cell anemia, hemophilia, and other child- hood cancers and blood disorders. n Anthony Cunningham Children’s Hospital New Orleans recently received a $100,000 Impact Award from Hyundai Hope On Wheels.
