Williams obtained a Bachelor of Arts in politi- cal science and a master's degree in criminal jus- tice from Southern University at New Orleans. She then earned a PhD in public policy from Southern University, Baton Rouge. She served as a Terre- bonne Parish councilwoman for the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government from 2006 to 2020. Gisclair is the community clinical educator in the Terrebonne General Wellness for Life Department. Terrebonne General Health System, in con- junction with Louisiana State Police and Louisi- ana Passenger Safety Task Force, offers free car seat inspections at Terrebonne General Women's Health Center on the first and third Wednesday and first Saturday of every month. The CPS Hero award honors technicians and instructors for their considerable knowledge and expertise in various community-based activities, such as child safety seat checks, where parents and caregivers receive education and hands-on assistance. Louisiana has more than 630 child pas- senger safety technicians; three techs from each region are annually given the award. Thibodaux Regional Health SystemWelcomes Martin Duplantier, DDS Thibodaux Regional Health System announced the addition of Martin J. Duplantier, DDS, oral and maxillofacial surgeon, to the active medical staff. Duplantier has joined Oral Facial Surgery Center. Duplantier is board-certified in oral and max- illofacial surgery. He earned an undergraduate degree at The Citadel Military College of South Carolina and a dental degree at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans. After an oral and max- illofacial residency at the Oklahoma Health Sci- ences Center, he completed fellowship training in adult and pediatric advanced craniomaxillofa- cial and trauma surgery through Legacy Emanuel Hospital and Randall’s Children’s Hospital in Port- land, Oregon.
