DCHC Designated as COVID One-Stop Test to Treat Site DePaul Community Health Centers’ (DCHC) Carrollton, Gentilly, Metairie, New Orleans East, and St. Cecilia locations serve as COVID-19 virus One-Stop Test to Treat sites in the metro area. Launched in March 2022 by the Biden-Harris Administration and expanded in May, One-Stop Test to Treat sites provide COVID-19 virus testing, treatment, and medications, including Paxlovid and Molnupiravir, at the same healthcare center. With COVID-19 virus cases and hospitaliza- tions increasing statewide again, DCHC is avail- able to assist individuals who suspect they may be infected with the virus with testing, treat persons who test positive, and provide various medications. “Test to treat for COVID-19 is an effective way for preventing severe disease, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19. The antiviral therapy that is used for treatment is a very important tool for helping to combat hospitalization and death from COVID-19,” said Stacy Greene, MD, DCHC’s infectious disease lead. Patients may call (504) 207-3060 or visit DePaulCommunityHealthCenters.org to make an appointment. DCHC also accepts walk-ups. n
