St. Martin is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and has been practicing in Houma for 26 years. Steigner received a medical degree from Louisi- ana State University School of Medicine. He com- pleted an internship and residency at Louisiana State University Hospital in New Orleans. He is board-certified by the American Board of Radi- ology. Shayna Hogan (delivery nurse), Meaghan Marie Thomas (mom), Levi Jacob Thomas (Baby New Year), Jacob Lavon Thomas (dad), and Jennifer Gray (nursery nurse) celebrate new life in the new year at St. Tammany Health System in Covington on New Year’s Day. Children’s Hospital NewOrleans Welcomes Developmental- Behavioral Pediatrician Susan Fielkow, MD Children’s Hospital New Orleans announced the appointment of Susan Fielkow, MD, FAAP, to its growing team of mental and behavioral health providers. A developmental-behavioral pediatri- cian, Fielkow will serve a critical role as an out- patient pediatric specialist who will evaluate and treat children and adolescents with a wide range of neurodevelopmental and behavioral conditions. “With the addition of Dr. Fielkow, outpatient behavioral health services at Children’s Hospital will further expand to meet the needs of more child and adolescent patients in our community and across the region,” said George Bisset III, MD, chief medical officer at Children’s Hospital New Orleans. “We are thrilled to add her expertise to our team of pediatric behavioral health provid- ers, as we work diligently to transform behavioral healthcare for children.” Fielkow treats a variety of conditions affecting children, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, learning disorders, autism, mild intel- lectual disabilities, and developmental concerns accompanying some genetic conditions. Fielkow has more than 37 years of experience in pediatrics, including her service at Ochsner Medi- cal Center and NorthShore University Health Sys- tems in Chicago. As a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Florida College of Medicine, she completed a pediatric residency at Michael Reese Hospital and pediatric chief of residency at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medi- cal Center in Chicago, Illinois.
