Bourgeois will serve and treat patients at Thibodaux Regional Internal Medicine Clinic, located at 506 North Acadia Road in Thibodaux. A native of Thibodaux, Bourgeois graduated fromNicholls State University and received a med- ical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He completed an internal medicine residency at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center in Baton Rouge. He is a member of the American College of Phy- sicians, the American Medical Association, and the Louisiana State Medical Society. Slidell Memorial Hospital Selects Holly Sanchez as Chief Operating Officer Slidell Memorial Hospital (SMH) has selected Holly Sanchez as its chief operating officer. In this position, Sanchez will oversee the day-to-day busi- ness operations of the hospital, as well as continue to oversee SMH’s information technology. She will report to Chief Executive Officer Sandy Badinger. Sanchez began working as SMH’s IT Services Director in 2011, after acting as an independent consultant to the hospital since 2007. Sanchez accepted the role of chief information officer in 2018, bringing more than 35 years of experience in information technology support specific to health- care. She has the proven ability to analyze data to develop and execute strategies that result in increasing efficiency and driving results for the organization. She is adept in analyzing business needs, building process and procedure, and over- seeing a project through completion. “During the past decade that I have worked at Slidell Memorial Hospital, I have been part of a team that has made so many advancements, from implementing new technology to increasing access to care for our community,” said Sanchez. “I am excited to take on this new role to help lead our team into the future.” Children’s Hospital New Orleans Announces Jonathan Brouk as Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer Children’s Hospital New Orleans announced the internal appointment of Jonathan Brouk as the organization’s senior vice president and chief operating officer. “The Children’s Hospital executive team is thrilled that one of our own will be taking on the role of COO,” said John R. Nickens IV, president and CEO of Children’s Hospital New Orleans. “In his tenure at the hospital, Jonathan has played an integral role in expanding our footprint and helping Children’s deliver expert pediatric care to families across the state. Children’s Hospital will continue to advance the health and wellbeing of Louisiana’s children with Jonathan at the helm of our operations and campus expansion project.” As chief operating officer, Brouk will serve as the hospital’s executive over strategy, business devel- opment, marketing, legal, and hospital support services as well as leading Children’s $300 million campus transformation effort set to reach comple- tion in mid-2021 He will also serve as the service line executive for the Heart Center and Cancer Center at Children’s Hospital, two of the hospi- tal’s signature programs. In his four years at Children’s Hospital, Brouk has implemented statewide strategies for growth and expansion, and has helped form key partnerships for the organization, including the integration of Tulane University School of Medicine Pediatrics into the Children’s Hospital family, and pediatric partnerships across the state including a recent collaboration with Willis-Knighton Health System in Shreveport.
