Terrebonne General Medical Center (TGMC) announces Salvador “Sal” Scanio as the Director of Materials Management.
Scanio graduated Cum Laude from Tulane University in New Orleans in 2003 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Information Systems. He joined TGMC in the Information Technology department in June 2012 where he managed numerous software systems, including Lawson and EPIC, designed to improve quality and efficiency.
In his new role, Scanio will develop and integrate purchasing and inventory systems and analyze programs for financial and clinical projects.
