Nonprofit Breaks Ground on Unique Facility for Special Needs Youth

A ground breaking ceremony for The Miracle League Northshore Baseball Complex will be held March 14 at 11 a.m. at Coquille Parks and Recreation, 13505 Highway 1085 in Covington. The event is free and open to the public.

Since 2014, organizers have been diligently working to plan and fund this unique Miracle League Northshore field. The $750,000 price tag will go a long way in allowing children of all abilities the opportunity to fulfill their dreams of playing baseball, just like their peers. This event marks a huge milestone for the entire Northshore community as it is the only facility of its kind in the area to serve these children and their families.

Miracle League Northshore is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing recreational sports leagues to children with special needs throughout the Northshore community.
