Humana Inc. will host a grand reopening celebration on Jan. 11 for its relocated neighborhood location at 747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Metairie. All residents are invited to attend the free community event, which will feature a cooking demonstration with New Orleans celebrity Chef Nino Thibodeaux; a SilverSneakers exercise class; chargrilled oysters from Drago’s; and live entertainment and giveaways. Attendees can also learn better ways to manage their health and well-being via a health fair featuring representatives from various community partners, including JenCare, Ochsner, and SilverSneakers.
